Plan Rooms, Tasks and Co-op Roles

Turn your room list into a balanced wash-and-return checklist. All names and task notes stay in your browser.

What the planner returns

Editable assignments from your own room list

Editable player and task inputs produce a transparent, room-aware assignment checklist. Enter players, preferences, rooms, task types, effort, and priority; the tool returns per-player room assignments, a start-here checklist, a balancing explanation, and guide links. Numeric upgrade costs or effects stay unavailable without verified data.

Deterministic assignment rules

The same player list, task rows, options, and row order always produce the same result. The planner uses only values entered in this browser.

  1. Rule 1

    Normalize labels

Trim repeated whitespace and keep player, area, and task labels within the published input limits.

  2. Rule 2

    Optionally split mixed work

When enabled, one Mixed row becomes a Wash subtask and a Return subtask. Each keeps the effort label entered for the original row, so the duplicated weight is disclosed.

  3. Rule 3

    Order by priority, then input

Process every Now task before every Later task. Preserve the user's row order inside each priority group.

  4. Rule 4

    Choose the compatible player pool

Use players whose preference matches Wash or Return work, plus Flexible players. If nobody matches, keep the task by falling back to all players.

  5. Rule 5

    Balance entered effort

Assign the task to the eligible player with the lowest current total, using Small = 1, Medium = 2, and Large = 3 only as user-entered balancing weights.

  6. Rule 6

Use area affinity only on a tie

If effort totals tie and the option is enabled, prefer a player who already holds a task with the exact same user-entered area label.

  7. Rule 7

Break the final tie by player order

If the candidates still tie, choose the player who appears first in the user's player list.
